Prepping for this topic was an eye opening reminder of just how bad our food systems have gotten for the sake of convenience. I have two tips. I find that using a frozen banana imparts a more intense banana flavor. This Lemon Tofu Crème can be made with either firm or extra firm tofu. Silken or soft tofu will create a product that's too thin and with less protein as well. Trust me on this one…Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to four days.     Anyone else craving smoothies for breakfast, Try to use a superfine sugar - granulated may be a bit gritty. You can of course use an artificial sweetener.Before you think I've lost my marbles, My first attempts all involved TOFU since I bought 2 KG of the "thing" (as everybody at my home describes it at least) and serves me twice since I both hate meat and it offers good protein I need badly.
