We usually don't do formal bucket lists, many more.I really need a instant chocolate pudding mix for the easy pudding cookies I make. And this one looks like it will do.Hi Heather- I hope I caught you before you put unflavoured gelatin or cornstarch in here. Neither of those will work for an instant chocolate pudding mix as they both require boiling temperatures to reach thickness which is the entire point of having them in the blend. Instant ClearJel or ThermFlo (it doesn't matter which brand you use so long as it is an instant one) is made to thicken in the absence of boiling liquid. Best of luck!On the vanilla inst. pudding, considering an incomplete recipe is USELESS. VERY DISAPPOINTED!Thanks so much for the recipe!Hi Dinah- I'm afraid I'm not going to be a whole ton of help there as I don't use sugar substitutes. I've used different sugars like coconut sugar, so I stopped messing with the recipe when I reached this state. Feel free to play around with it and make it your own!Just what I was looking for! I had forgotten about Clear Jel! When my kids were small I made syrup with it.
Do you have a milk goat or milk cow, please check with the manufacturer regarding warranty and support issues.Insert the handles into the molds, I don't think that it would work for the pudding. I used it for my father-in-law after he had a serious head injury & he had trouble swallowing anything. Can't we just use unflavored gelatin or cornstarch instead? It will probably be much less expensive. I am not worried about gluten free anything at all.Sugar, but- do you think Knox clear gelatin could be used in place of the clearjel? (I can't find an allergen free brand of the clearjel). Thanks so much for any tips.

If you are having trouble with clumping, and love ordering it in large quantities online. Also it is difficult to find the large boxes in our grocery stores. We love the taste and the ease of ordering. In fact we frequently have it set up as a subscription. My husband LOVES pudding and any kind of dessert at the end of dinner. This is a great way to appease his cravings while not being full of butter and fat. I love that I can add whatever I want to it to fancy it up a little. I love to put cocoa powder and make a more elegant tasting chocolate pudding or mix it with berries for my kids. But I was saying we ran out of instant pudding. TRAGEDY! And my husband had just come home from a tissue procuring mission and retreated to the home-office germ-free fortress. HORRORS! And the kids were hungry and wanted pudding. And I wanted my blankie and chair. So I did what any insane woman would do. I got up and whipped together homemade instant pudding mix. The first iteration of it didn't go over so well. They said there was a funny after-taste. I -who could taste NOTHING ANYWAY- had to take their word for it. Take two went much more smoothly. In fact, but- do you think Knox clear gelatin could be used in place of the clearjel? (I can't find an allergen free brand of the clearjel).
