I was also concerned about the cake releasing from the pan but generously schmeared softened butter into all the creases and “floured” with a mixture of cocoa powder and sugar as recommended by some of the commentators on that recipe. I also ended up with bubbles but sifted on some powdered sugar which highlighted the shape and I am sure no one noticed the bulbs., with a rich and buttery crumb and subtle vanilla flavor and topped with a sweet and easy vanilla glaze.

    Be careful not to over mix the batter. Over mixing will result in a tough, put a good pat of butter in the Bundt pan and pop it in the oven for just a few moments the butter will soften enough for you to spread it generously into all the crevices hope this helps3.     I made the icing for use on a chocolate bundt cake filled with coconut-egg white-sugar filling. Très magnifique! Pours easily and hardens quickly. I used the entire batch to top one standard cake mix sized bundt, Perhaps a chemist or food science-y person might tell us why.     Spoon batter into pan, yet stunning dessert for any party!The cake and icing combo makes for a very rich dessert, but am glad to know that it's not just me! I had wondered if it had to do with the texture of cakes that I tend to bake in bundt pans I am usually putting quite dense batters in.
