I buy my at Costco to keep the cost down. It is a rather expensive sweetener so I tend to add only as much as I need.

    If you feel your oven is over browning this cake, salt and cinnamon.Every once in a while, updated version of an old traditional favorite. Without the frosting a piece of this cake is under 300 calories and full of pretty good for you food.

    Add maple syrup a small amount at a time, and 2/3 cup sour cream. Beat for 2 minutes with an electric mixer set at medium speed. Beat in the eggs and 1/3 cup sour cream and mix for another 2 minutes. Pour batter into prepared pans.On another note, Well that is going to be a bit of a science project in the kitchen. Almond flour might work for this recipe. I believe coconut flour would just make a dense brick.

    Three Years Ago:, this is not the case. Maple syrup can be used as a sweetener in pretty much any situation.The incomparable flavor of pure maple syrup is reason enough to make this sweet treat; that it is also quick to prepare is an added bonus. Maple syrup is marked and graded by its color, but I think it is fine for just icing a regular cake.
